How XADO® Revitalizant for rifled barrels works

Restoration: Due to energy generated by the bullet, the new metal-ceramic layer of the highest durability and smoothness is formed on the inner surface of the rifled barrel, restoring its original geometry and making it even more pristine.

Protection: The new metal-ceramic layer offers unique properties – amazing durability, highest resistance to corrosion, maximized surface smoothness. The longer life of the barrel up to 2-3 times is guaranteed.

Performance: After revitalization, the moderately worn-out gun’s barrel is guaranteed to outperform even the new one! And the new one will outperform itself! The effect of revitalization will last at least one year for firearms of regular moderate use. For best results, we recommend repeating the revitalization procedure once a year.

Technical details:

As a result of XADO® Revitalization nano-technology process, the metal-ceramic coating layer is formed on the inner surface of the barrel with following properties:

• micro hardness: 750 kg/mm2
• roughness Ra: less than 0,06 mkm

Application:

The treatment consists of three steps. Use the gel of the appropriate color for each step!

Step 1 (10 shots):

• a). Use a rifle brush to apply red gel to the inner barrel surface.
• b). Apply small amount of gel to the bullet surface protruding out of the cartridge.
• Fire once.
• Repeat a) and b) between no less than 9 additional shots.

Step 2 (10 shots):

•  Treat the barrel bore and the bullet with the yellow gel and fire no less than ten times, as it was done in Step 1.

Step 3 (10 shots):

• Treat the barrel bore and the bullet with the yellow gel and fire no less than ten times, as it was done in Step 2.

Notes:

• Treat new barrels with the green gel making 10 shots.
• For preventive maintenance of restored barrels it is recommended to treat the barrels with the green gel making ten shots once a year or with the same gel making ten shots аfter every 1000 shots.
